Day 5

Alright here it is!

I slept like a baby again last night!

Despite a rough day at work, I still had plenty of energy.  I got home actually feeling ready to do things, not ready to crash which is what I'm used to - what a gift!

The juice I was creative with...the one with the garlic was INTENSE.  I felt like a "garlic breathing dragon."  It's surprising how much juice came out of half a garlic head!

Cravings are continuing but I am managing them better.  My co-workers had some delicious food at work today and of course I went and smelled all of it.  Just inhaled the fried chicken strips and let that sit with me...strangely the smell was satisfying enough and I did not feel the need to eat anything afterward.  Weird.  I'm a freak, I know.
Corpse Pose - Savasana

Did the P90X Yoga again.  I improved a lot which of course increases my motivation to keep working out and to keep juicing.  I was working out with the windows and balcony door open, and during the very last pose, Savasana (corpse pose), it got super windy and started raining.  The timing was almost magical.  It was so relaxing to feel the wind after working so hard for my body.
I loved it!

I'm very diligent about my shower routine.  Especially after a good sweaty workout session.  I make sure to scrub from my toes up to my heart using a loofah.  This is another important part of cleansing.  This helps circulate the lymphatic fluid in the body which is used to excrete many toxins.  I share this because this juice fast is about getting healthy, so every part of my day, every behavior, becomes a part of that.  I do this regularly regarding of the juice fast but I thought it worth mentioning in case anyone else is also trying a juice fast.

I'm working on increasing my water intake between juices.  I've been slacking off with this so hopefully I can get better about it.  This is too important to neglect Kaley!

Bowels are moving regularly now so I skipped the evening fiber shake.

Mint tea and bed time :)
