I always look forward to infusion day (when I get Tysabri, my disease modifying treatment aka DMT). My infusion is once a month, so by the end of the month, I'm running on empty and my body starts to deteriorate and crave the DMT again. I'm usually pretty exhausted the week before the infusion and the day of I'm pretty much non-functional.
Somehow today, I had plenty of energy before my infusion in the afternoon. It was a noticeable change. I can't fully attribute this to the juicing since it was only Day 2 and the week prior I had noticed an improvement in my health anyway.
Fiber drink when I woke up. And by the way I'm beginning to really like the ground flaxseed. After the juice fast I can totally see myself putting it into yogurt or cereals (gluten free of course!). It's yummy, try it!
Breakfast/lunch was Morning Energy - beet & cucumber. Wasn't a fan but I felt full. For some reason that was all I needed even though I planned on another juice for lunch. During my infusion I sipped the Colon Cleanse Cocktail until my Benadryl induced nap took over, which was heavenly of course. (PS thank you Bayla for encouraging me to have them change my med delivery, IV-push all the way!)
I had to work hard to finish the Colon Cleanse Cocktail after the infusion because I just wasn't hungry. I was wiped out afterward which isn't uncommon for me after the infusion. I came home and took a FOUR HOUR NAP. Delicious.
Unfortunately, despite all the sleep and healing for the day, I realized I was missing beets, lemon, matoes, and cucumbers. Yes, I already used almost all of them for the 4 juices I made for Day 1. I have plenty of kale, garlic, parsley, lettuce and more though! Haha - better planning from now on!
After a trip to the store, I was hard at work at the juicer again. I only made the Colon Cleanse Cocktail since I still had two juices from the day before. Not gonna lie, having to go to the store at 9:30pm and then make a juice was a VERY trying experience. I was SO tempted to give up and just decide to start next week. But I felt like I already put so much into this and knew that if I gave up I'd be super hard on myself and lose motivation to start over.
Again in the evening, fiber drink followed by mint tea.
Feeling alright and glad to get back in bed now after two exhausting days.
